I love Texture.
I love fields and pictures of people in fields are even better because of the texture and I think it's just fun to lay in a bunch of tall grass. Doesn't Brooke look incredible? I loved her gorgeous red hair and pretty complextion...more to come later.

Almost done!
One of the advantages of digital is the freedom to take as many photos as your memory card will hold; however, it's also one of the disadvantages. I'm finally through the "rough" edit as I call it of this shoot and tomorrow starts the fun artsy stuff! :) I think that I will make it my goal on my next shoot to really think about each shot and then only take what is needed. I've also discovered that if my f/stop is set too low, and if my subjects are in front and behind each other that either the person in front or in the back seems to be more soft. I'll definitely close down that aperature to something between 2.0 and 2.8 next time for optinmal crispness! :)

Baby "E" is just too cute!
Here is a preview of baby "E". I took her newborn photos back in May and today I had the chance to take some more pictures of her. Mom, Dad and baby are just so photogenic and I love taking their pics. Lot's more to come later! :)
